Violence in Society

Violence is every where in are society, but what are some of the main factors that contribute to creating violence? The four most contributing factors that lead to violence are ,one being the media, second being substance abuse , third being gangs , and the last but not least weapon control. The media is a major leading cause in the uproar of violence, just look at all the rap songs and videos , not all are bad , but the ones only about doing drugs and shooting cops, this is trying to be played off as cool, stuff like that is being absorbed by the brains of the the youth , and that is just asking for intolerance towards the authorities and other lawful figures. Substance abuse, imagine a person just looking some money to get his fix, some that would risk their lives for another hit , it's people like that, that are the ones most likely to have an outburst and rob or kill another human being. These type of people don't know any better, their next escape from reality is what they are dying for. Drugs and money go hand in hand , and when someone does not get their money , some one gets it. Violence is most often always associated with drugs, two rival gangs could go at it in an all out brawl, and there just happens to be some helpless bystanders who just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, the topic of gangs also relates with the next topic, gun distribution. In North America a gun is your safety, you can't rely the police , it's your family you are there for entrusted to protect them , and best way happens to be a gun. Lots of places give out guns as promotions , pretty easy to obtain a gun, if you meet the requirements , but those requirements are not relatively that high , and gun laundering contributes to how safe the streets are. No need to meet the gun requirements when you can obtain guns from your local dealer without registration or wait, show me the money , show me the gun.

a few cents short of a dollar

Of Mice of Men is a whimsical tale about 2 men in the great depression , you may be thinking great a movie based upon a funny, heart throbbing book, but this is where the shy should stray their eyes and avoid the burning of the retinas and the brain.
If you're willing to sit back and allow the movie to fry your brain of anything remotely good in book, and still enjoy , well if you still enjoyed it you either decided not to read the book and saw film or it was a dare with your friends.
The movie may be based on the book , but for how much was actually in the movie you're given what seems to be maybe a page worth of script and a half assed movie.
The movie starts of with George and Lenny escaping from Weeds , because Lenny being portrayed as the big tard that he is had just grabbed some ladies dress , just for the heck of feeling something soft.
They escape and head out for a occupation , they end up taking refuge in a barn full of rough and tough men , this is where things start to get a bit controversial
It really does not make much sense that sometimes Lenny is able to actually bring forth full sentences , but other times can't even bring forth a word.
Beside the many bad things about the movie there were some particularly good things were that movie did show some key scenes , when Slims dog is taking out for it's final minutes, I found this scene relitivialy the same as I would of saw it in the book.
All in all though , the finer details that made the book seemed to be left out , along with the emotion that was felt with each character, the acting was bogie if anything.
The transition from book to movie just needed more planning , it seemed very rushed and made just for the hell of making money.

Spidey SENSES!! R LEGIT!1

If there was one power that I , Joseph Malcom Myshrall could acquire , after rolling around in the radio active waste outside the power plants , I would get myself some spidey powers.
At first I wouldn't realize that I had acquired my new spidey powers, I would just be sitting in my room lounging when all the sudden I got a urge, but this wasn't the regular urge I usually felt in my loins it was the to urge to do justice, spidey senses. I perch myself upon the window sill and stare at the alley below. I think to myself this better work like it does in the movies or I'm going to look like such a fruitcake. I lunge across the alley and strain myself trying to get some web out of me, but to my surprise it didn't come out of the spot I thought would have been a lot more appropriate, but how can I complain I'm able to swing down town by my ass.

Spidey-Joe, Spidey-Joe, does whatever a spider can!Spins a web any size, catches thieves just like flies!Look out! Here comes the Spidey-Joe!
